Family Wedding Fun

This past weekend Calla was the flower girl in my cousin's wedding. She loved every minute, especially the dance! We are also including a few other pics of some fun in the sun!

Family Vacation 2013

We took a little trip over to Omaha this week. We hit up the Henry Doorly Zoo and Cabela's and Joslyn Art Museum. We arrived at the zoo minutes before it opened and left minutes before it closed. We saw so many cool animals and even got to ride the carousel, Skyfari, and the train. We did not get to see all of the exhibits, there simply are too many animals to see in only one day. :( Cabela's has a large store that we also got to see some cool animals at, and have some delicious fudge! We made it 34 minutes at the Joslyn Art Museum before we had Drake screaming to get out of his stroller. Why do you have to be so quiet at a museum anyway? It was a wonderful, wonderful time and we look forward to another vacation next summer!

Currently there is this Dinosaur exhibit at the zoo that has a bunch of moving, roaring dinosaurs. It is nestled back in a wooded area and really neat!

A little camping trip

We took a little camping trip this weekend to a recreation area that is about 15 minutes from our house. We swam, fished, played at their park, walked around, had a campfire and enjoyed every minute of it! We ended up coming home at 2am because of a big storm moving in to the area so that made the kids sad. Chad and the kids went back this morning to get our tent and fish a little more. We can't wait to go again soon!!
