A little camping trip

We took a little camping trip this weekend to a recreation area that is about 15 minutes from our house. We swam, fished, played at their park, walked around, had a campfire and enjoyed every minute of it! We ended up coming home at 2am because of a big storm moving in to the area so that made the kids sad. Chad and the kids went back this morning to get our tent and fish a little more. We can't wait to go again soon!!

Summertime!!

There was B-17 that visited our airport this week so we went out to check it out. It was so interesting to look at all the parts, Drake wanted to go inside really bad! This boy LOVES airplanes, or "hairmanes" as he calls them!

Summer has finally arrived and we could not be happier!! It has only been warm enough to visit the public pool one time, but the kids have enjoyed some fun with the hose at home. My flowers have also started blooming and I could just sit and look at them for hours. I ran my 3rd Half Marathon this last weekend and improved my time by 12 minutes. Chad and the kids came out to meet me 3 different spots along the route, it is so refreshing to have them cheer me on a bit as I travel on my way!
