Best Christmas Ever. Seriously, it has been! We got to spread our celebrations out over 4 days and just really take time to enjoy our family and friends.
Calla got EVERYTHING she wanted. Thankfully she has reasonable expectations. Drake LOVED opening gifts and passing them out as well. He is all boy.
We had a great afternoon/evening spending time with my Mom's side of the family. Never anything boring there.
Sunday we celebrated with my parents and brothers. We love to sit around there and shoot the breeze. The topic of conversation is usually interesting, and my poor dad is always getting beat up by my brothers.
Before church, we got to hang with Chad's family. Homemade alcohol and lots of wine make for a good time!
Calla got to participate in her first full Christmas program at church and she did awesome. Drake, well, a 9:00PM start is too much for him at this point. Maybe next year he won't cry during the.whole.program.
Today we just celebrated with our family of four. The children slept in until--that's right Calla does not sleep in. Zip, our Christmas Elf brought her some anti-thumb sucking nasty tasting stuff. Bedtime was not pretty tonight, but we have a great video to show her someday. Could you hear her screaming? Wow.
Calla, Drake and I still get to celebrate with my Dad's family over the weekend and are very much looking forward to that!
We pray that your celebrations were the best you ever had and you took time to be glad for those around you!
Merry Christmas!!

Merry Holidays
It seems my weekly updates have not been, well, uhuhm, weekly. You would think when I carry the pictures around in my pocket, on my phone, that I could update more.
We have pics from the children visiting Santa this year. At first Drake cried then he wanted his picture taken so he climbed up to do so. Calla and I worked on our yearly gingerbread houses and had a great time. We worked together to make over 100 sugar cookies and had a great time. We also have pictures of Drake when he had a minor procedure done, what a trooper he is!! So thankful! We also have pics of Calla at the Gobble Wobble way back on Thanksgiving. We start our days of Christmas celebrations next weekend and are looking forward to spending time with our families! Hug your babies, you just never know what is ahead!!!

Other random Fall Fun
Calla started indoor soccer last week and is loving it so far. Drake not so much, too much sitting around for him! Drake and his daycare friends like to talk on their banana phones. He called Grandpa on his banana phone at home this week. Silly boy! My para found an amazing wolf spider at school this week and after it died we stretched its legs out to explore it. The kids love it, the parents hate it!
Halloween 2012
We had the most beautiful weather here on Halloween and had the best time out in our neighborhood! We had some friends come over to join us so that made it all the more fun too!

Pumpkin Patch 2012
We had the best time visiting a different pumpkin patch this year! We have ventured close to home the last two years since Drake was young, but this year we went a bit farther away!
There were so many fun things to do and the three hours we were there were almost not enough. There was an enclosed jump-a-roo and two open ones, a corn tank to dig in, a train to ride, several playgrounds, goats and ponies, swings, bumper cars, giant hillside slides, bunnies and chickens, and even a sand box! We will definitely be visiting again next year!!
